Photogrammetry is the science of obtaining measurements from photographs. While the input to photogrammetry is photographs, the output can range from a variety of data-driven, custom-fit solutions.
In Aerial Photogrammetry, the camera is pointed vertically towards the ground while taking multiple overlapping high-definition photos of the Area-of-Interest. The high-definition photos are digitally stitched together allowing for the analysis of various measurements including length, area, volume, elevation, object count, plant health, ect.
